NOT Allowed: latex paint, smoke detectors, unsorted solid waste, tires, auto batteries, asbetsos & materials containing PCBs, waste oil, ammunition, explosives, infectious waste, business or agricultural waste, medicines, construction debris

TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS ON P UBLIC SQUARE

Beginning immediately there will be no left hand turn allowed from Washington Street north bound on to Stone Street west bound. This restriction will be in place until Verizon sub contractors can complete telephone vault work as necessary for the Public Square improvement project.

The City American Heart Walk Team will be selling hearts starting February 1, 2007 as part of the “Go Red For A Day” campaign sponsored by the American Heart Association. Go Red is a special day set aside to recognize heart disease as the number one killer of women in America.

Please join us on February 2, 2007 in front of City Hall at 9:00 a.m. for the ceremony proclaiming this GO RED for Women Day. Guests will include the Mayor, City Council, Bill Wood, Corporate Events Director, and testimonials from a few survivors.
