Our Mayor, Jeffrey Graham, is the head of the City Government and presides at all meetings of the City Council.
A voting member of the Council, the Mayor represents the City at civic events and private-public occasions throughout the year.
The Mayor's duties are to provide leadership, and promote teamwork by assisting the Council in establishing policies and coordinating Council activities.
The responsibilities of the City Manager are to direct and supervise the activities of the City, manage municipal resources for efficient operation of public services, present plans, reports and analysis to City Council and maintain the financial affairs of the City in both long term and short term perspectives.
The City Council appoints the City Manager who is responsible for the implementation of the policies established by the Council and the general administration of City operations. In addition, the City Manager's Office is responsible for labor relations, insurance and risk management, budgeting, financial analysis, grant management and intermunicipal relations. |
