The City consists of several departments, most of which are located in City Hall at 245 Washington Street. View the City's Organizational Chart.
City Hall, also called Municipal Building, houses the following departments:
Assessment, Civil Service, City Clerk, Code Enforcement, City Manager and Mayor, Comptroller's Office, Downtown, Engineering Department, Historian, Information Technology, Planning & Zoning, Public Works Administration, Purchasing, and Water Department.
Departments located in other areas of the city include:
Fire, Library, Public Works (CitiBus, Parks/Rec, Refuse & Recycling, Electric), Police Department, Sewage Treatment Plant, and Water Treatment and Transmission & Distribution.
