Dog License
City Residents who have dogs must register them with the City Clerk.
After downloading and printing the dog license form, remit the documents either in person to the City Clerk's Office, or mail them to City Clerk, 245 Washington St, Watertown NY, 13601:
Proof of Rabies vaccination signed by a licensed veterinarian required and
if applicable, proof of exemption status

Transient Retail Form
You can apply for a license to sell goods within the City, as defined in these guidelines:

Letter from property owner giving permission to the transient retailer to set up on the property must be filed at the time of application

Fee of $300 for the first three days or any portion thereof and $100 for each additional day of operation must also be submitted at the time of the application.
(Please note: If transient dealer decides to conduct the sales longer than the original amount of days paid for, payment must be made to the City Clerk's Office prior to the additional days)

A surety bond in the amount of $1,000 must be submitted to the City Clerk's Office with the application, letter and fees

Parade Permit
Simply submit your request in a letter addressed to the council. Include information about the parade such as when, where and what route. The council will review your request and approve or disapprove.
There is no fee or forms associated with this process.

Handicap Parking Permit
Download and complete the form, and bring it to the Clerk's Office. A physician must complete and sign the form as well.
