Community Action Planning Council
(CAPC)

The Jefferson County Community Action Planning Council has been serving the City of Watertown and Jefferson County residents since 1996, by providing programs for low income families including, but not limited to, Head Start, Weatherization, Food & Critical Needs Assistance, Child Care and more.   The Mission of the CAPC is "To Assist and Support People Toward Self-Reliance."

The Board consists of a 24-member board of directors that meets the third Thursday of the month at 5:30 p.m. during the months of September through June.   The board has an additional four standing committees that board members may participate on a monthly basis.
