We strive to keep you informed of what's happening in our city. There are many ways for you to view events.
The Default View is with all of your calendars selected.
  • To view the available calendars, click Select Calendars. Put a check beside the calendars that you want to view and click View Selected Calendars and you will only see the items in the calendars you checked.
  • To View by Month click on the "<<" or ">>" buttons on the Monthly Calendar.
  • You can also enter a specific date to see the events for that day.
  • You still have the option of viewing a printable month and week’s calendar with your selection of calendars on it.

City Planning Board Meeting - July 3
The City Planning Board is composed of 7 members. The Planning Board’s main responsibilities are reviewing requests for site plan, special use permit, zone change and subdivision approvals and making recommendations to the City Council on the first three. The Board may also make recommendations on other planning issues
They hold regular meetings on the first Tuesday of each month at 4 p.m. The meetings usually last between 30 minutes to 2 hoursSpecial meetings are held occasionally when needed. Length of preparation required before meetings depend on the agenda items, but typically can be 2 hours in length.

Tree Watertown Meeting - July 12
Tree Watertown, a volunteer group of community citizens serves as the Street Tree Advisory Board to the City of Watertown. Tree Watertown advises the City on policy issues, makes recommendations regarding grant applications and works with the City Planning Office in the development of the City’s annual tree planting program. In addition, Tree Watertown serves the community through the development and presentation of educational initiatives and tree planting projects throughout the year.

The event will be held on Tuesday July 3rd with opening act of Fred & the Ed’s starting around 5:15 followed by the Yellow Ribbon Ceremony and the symphony should start around 7:00 & fireworks at dark.
